drift box S is a dual VCO analogue desktop sythesizer, despite its small form factor, the drift box S is capable of powerful cross modulation and complex sounds, comparable to larger modular systems. The sound source consists of two oscillators each with a massive 10KHz bandwidth.
Although equipped with numerous input terminals, the drift box S strength lies in improvisation and "noise making". The 4-axis joystick controls pitch and mod depth, both of which can be switched in and out per VCO, via a toggle switch. White noise can also be introduced via a separate control.
An external modulation input is provided for each VCO which can be triggered via the button on the front panel or from an external control voltage, selected via a toggle switch. When triggering externally, a separate depth control allows for scaling the received signal.
Made in Japan
REON drift boxes are handcrafted in Osaka Japan using traditional thru-hole components, resulting in products that deliver a truly authentic analogue experience. Presented in a semi-modular format, drift boxes bridge both conventional and modular worlds, delivering a product that can be used independently or integrated into almost any synth setup.
